Review by hotel critic
As a group of avid travelers, we had the pleasure of staying at Oaklea in Ambleside. the house was not only comfortable and well-equipped but also conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the town center. Despite the rainy weather, we admired the lovely garden space which we hope to enjoy on our next visit. The sound of the waterfall outside the house was truly mesmerizing. We loved the traditional feel of the modern home, with beautiful furnishings and a spacious layout. the three bathrooms with showers were a great convenience, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a cozy night in. One highlight of our stay was the proximity to the World of Beatrix Potter, only 10 km away. We also appreciated the opportunity to explore the nearby countryside on bikes, getting up close to nature and the charming English countryside. Overall, Oaklea was a fantastic choice for our getaway. As a group of professionals from different parts of the world, we all found something to love about this delightful holiday home. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the Lake District.
